From Dublin city centre - take 19, 19A, 13 83 bus
NORTHBOUND from city centre and ask to get off at Spar supermarket in Glasnevin.
Botanic view is located right in front of you between Smurfit factory and Iona

There is a Nitelink service from Westmoreland Street (between Trinity College and O'Connell
Bridge) Monday - Wednesday 0030 and 2.00 and Thurs to Sat 00.30 every 20 mnutes
to 4.30(2004 Fare 4 euro.)
From Dublin Airport - bus to city centre travels a route (Drumcondra
Road) which is parallel to Botanic Road so get off the bus at Quinns pub in
Drumcondra Road, cross over to St. Alphonsus Road and walk up this road which
becomes Iona Road at the church. Keep straight and Botanic Road is at the top T
junction - Botanic View is on right hand corner junction with Botanic Road.
From Dublin Airport by car - keep on route to city centre with
landmarks at end of motorway such as Regency Airport Hotel on left, Skylon Hotel
on right, Cat and Cage pub on left and Tesco supermarket on left. After this,
drive over the bridge of River Tolka and turn right IMMEDIATELY after this
bridge with Fagans pub on the corner (hanging baskets outside) This is Botanic
Avenue - keep straight to 2nd traffic lights which is junction with St, Mobhi
Road - turn left up to tthe next traffic lights (Bank of Ireland, Glasnevin on
left) which is the start of Botanic road and I am on the left.
Alternatively a taxi will leave you right at my door!
From Dublin Port Ferry by car- turn right coming out of Dublin Port -
keep straight along East Wall Road, under railway bridge, straight up Clonliffe
Road - turn right at top and then immediate left up St. Alphonsus Road which
becomes Iona Road at the church. Keep straight to top and I am on the right hand
corner on the Tjunction with Botanic Road.
From Dublin Port Ferry (foot passengers) - hop in a taxi!
From outside Dublin - The M50 motorway is a ring road which circles
Dublin. If you are coming from the west or south - take M50 northbound and get
off the M50 at the N2 exit (FINGLAS) drive around under the M50 and follow route
to city centre. Landmarks are Royal Oak pub and finally Glasnevin Cemetary which
is 3 traffic lights before my house. Botanic view is on the corner with Iona
Road. If you miss the Finglas exit, continue on to the Ballymun exit and again,
go under the M50 towards city centre - this route also passes my front door.
